Marcos is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Bioethics. He received his PhD in philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Spring 2023. His research focuses on ethical issues with the use of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in development economics and public policy research. He also has research interests in the social contract tradition and economic methodology, especially their intersection. While at the NIH, he will be working on questions at the intersection of bioethics (including population level) and moral & political philosophy.
