Matthew Morgado, BA
Matthew Morgado is a first-year post-baccalaureate fellow in the Department of Bioethics. Shortly before joining the NIH, Matthew graduated with a triple major in philosophy, mathematics, and economics from the University of Chicago. His undergraduate research focused on forgiveness and on abstract algebra. At the NIH, Matthew is chipping away at both ethics and mathematics, focusing on suffering in "end-of-life" contexts, and developing a tool for analyzing research risks. He plans to attend graduate school in philosophy after completing this fellowship.
