Emily is a post-baccalaureate fellow in the Department of Bioethics. She received her BS from California State University, Long Beach in 2023, where she majored in Health Science with emphasis in Community Health Education and minored in Health Humanities. At the NIH, Emily is currently working on topics related to genomics, health equity, and the ethical conduct of research within American Indian and Alaska Native communities, and is hoping to continue work in reproductive ethics, narrative medicine, and clinical ethics.
